repeated Firefox crashes?

Anyone but me having trouble over the last two to three days with Firefox crashing? I'm running FF 3.0.5 on both my PowerMac G5 and my PC (Win XP Home) and have have had five or six crashes, including at least one on the PC. I looked up the crash reports per FF instructions and each has a different ID. I haven't added or deleted anything significant from either computer so I'm puzzled about this development.

I am running 3.0.6 and it never crashes. It has never crashed since I installed Firefox over a year ago. Don't know what version that would of been but I update every time there is a new one.

Damn! I just installed 3.0.6 and it crashed again. of course, trying to get help from FF is like begging a shark to save me if I fell overboard. Maybe I just need to reinstall.

Have you tried FF in safe mode or a new profile for FF?

It's easy now with FF3....just hold Option when starting FF.
