Hi, my wife and I use Family Sharing and AirTags. She was offered the option of permanently ignoring alerts for tags belonging to me which is what I expected and wanted from family sharing. However I'm not given the option so I get notified every time I take her car keys with me somewhere etc. I can only choose to ignore for a day (I think that's what the option is, it's certainly not permanent like she was offered).

Is there any way to fix this?

I’ve never heard of this nor seen this before even though I do know it’s a highly requested feature. I wonder how you saw it because I’m pretty sure it doesn’t exist. But I would love to be proven wrong.

as stumpy said, your wife's experience is not what currently should happen. that feature hasn't even been mentioned as "coming soon"

" If the AirTag is attached to an item you're borrowing, you can tap Pause Safety Alerts to turn off "AirTag Detected" notifications for one day. If you're borrowing an AirTag from a member of your Family Sharing group, you can turn off Safety Alerts for one day or indefinitely."

Exactly - that's the expected behaviour. She gets the option for indefinitely turning of the safety alerts for my tags but I don't for hers.
