I'd imagine the connecters are the same and I dislike washed out screens.
Someone tried with a mba screen and it worked (a little) but that was voltage issues I bet.

How long untill you can buy replacement screens you think?
 
you should try replace with a macbook air screen. it's better than new umb
 
I think that the replacement might have an issue software wise. Although it would be cool to have a MBP screen on a MB. If it is something that can be done in the near future, I will definitely do it.
 
You'd be better off just replacing your unibody mac with a unibody macbook pro. Why do all that work for something that's only going to gain you a nicer screen?
