I am looking to buy a used 3GS to replace my wife's 3G. Neither of our lines are eligible for upgrade till Feb/March 2011.

My question is if I buy a used 3GS off ebay, is there anything more involved that just putting her current sim card from the 3G into it?

Nope, pop-in and go. The beauty of a GSM network :D

I'll sell you mine if you want. 32GB black 3GS in great condition. Only glitch is that my iPhone 4 doesn't show up until July 6-8.

Mine 32GS Black will be available after Thursday! Only normal wear and tear..never dropped and works just like the day I purchased it. Have the original box and everything that I received in the box. Ear buds never used and still in original wrapper. If interested PM me and I will send pictures...

Might be interested in those, if the price is right... :p

So just to clarify, if I go this route, will I have to renew a new 2 year contract?

Can anyone verify that doing this wont automatically extend my contract?
