So I was comparing these iBook G3s to my broken iBook G4 and was wondering if it's possible to replace the logic board with one from an iBook G4? It seems like it'd fit.

Not without significant modification to the frame of the iBook G3, the two are outwardly similar, but the innards are a different story.
Ah. I haven't delved inside of an iBook G3 for a few years now. I forgot how different the G4 was internally.
