Is it possible to replace an imac G5 Hard Drive with a macbook hard drive and if yes, is it a painless or painful process to make this replacement?

If so, I may have just gotten myself an imac desktop for 50 bucks!
Just wanted to make sure before I purchase this.

Hope to hear back soon!

Thanks

Buy it anyway!

There are so many online stores that offer replacement hard drives and RAM modules for 1/3 of Apples pricing.

Try http://www.crucial.com or http://www.macsales.com for a replacement hard drive.
