Hello, I am new to this site and registered because I have a question. I am in Bangkok at the moment and thinking of buying a MacBook Pro 15" here since the price is a lot better than in Europe.

The only downside is the keyboard, it's got thai signs on it. Not that its a problem, it probably just takes some getting used to. But I am wondering if it is possible to replace the keyboard once Im back home (and what the costs are).

(I know I can order the laptop online with an english keyboard, but then I dont get the VAT back ;)

Anyway, anyone knows if it is possible and the cost?
Thanks! Annet.

The European version keyboard is different than the US version in physical shape (see the Enter key), so it would depend on which version Thailand uses. If you can find a shop to do it, you can get a different language laser-engraved onto the keyboard. With this method, it will perfectly match the other language since laser-engraving is how Apple gets the letters on their keys.
