I currently own an iPhone 4, bought last November. My first iPhone had a flash issue and now the one I currently have will not focus properly(tried all the tricks). My first apple genius experience was pretty worry free, questions were asked but I did receive a replacement phone. Is there a way I could upgrade to the iPhone 5/4S if I wait to replace my phone until it comes out? Or do I have to wait until my contract expires? Also, I have screen protectors on the front and back of my phone, so if they replace it would they be able to supply me protectors? Thanks.

You will get the same model, color and GB storage iphone when getting a replacement.
You will not get the new model as a warranty replacement obviously.
And no, they wont give you free screen protectors. You have to buy those on your own or remove them and put them on the new one yourself.
