Replace screen lid?

Hi,

I wanted to ask if you think it's possible for the Apple Store to replace just the aluminium screen lid? Or do they simply not do this and would only replace the whole screen assembly + panel + lid? I am asking, as my screen lid has marks all over it (it was like this when I opened it), but I don't want them to exchange the whole MBP because other than this cosmetic problem, it is in perfect working order (no annoying hissing sound, no backlight bleeding on the screen etc.).

My understanding is that the glass and aluminum backing are bonded together making a total replacement the only option.

Oh, I should have mentioned that I have an antiglare screen.
