I think I saw this on a youtube video of someone's ipad where they swiped right from the home screen and instead of bringing up the Spotlight Search screen, it instead brought up the Settings screen.

Has anyone seen this and would know how to accomplish it?

thanks!

thanks but it definitely was not a switcher app...I already use ProSwitcher HD.

I'd love to just have an option to completely get rid of the spotlight screen, biggest waste of a screen IMO.

i use nospot to remove spotlight, and use activator to access setting by pinching the home screen. that works really great!

I was aware of nospot and had installed it already, but this post gave me the [obvious!] idea of using activator to define the left swipe on the status bar to bring up the Settings page (right swipe brings up SBSettings). thanks and problem solved!

It's too bad Activator doesn't have swipe anywhere options, that could enable it pretty quickly.

Activator: Home screen: Swipe right: Open Settings

Activator: Settings App: Swipe left: Close App

That'd do it perfect. :)

How would you go about switching pages with swipe anywhere. Not very applicable.
