I bought a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter/bracket from Microcenter and of course, it's too large...

For now, I have the SSD double sided taped to the system and it's working fine, but I'm thinking I want to find a proper enclosure/bracket/adapter that will actually fit inside the iMac.

Anyone know where I can find one?

I have taped my Vertex 2 in my 2007 iMac just as you did, and it is still holding after three months, even shaking the iMac does not produce any rattling sounds.

Yea, I know it will hold... I used automotive double sided tape which holds forever. I have no problem just leaving it in there but I'd rather not because it's annoying to think about...

You can get one here:

It's probably a little pricier than others, but it's guaranteed to fit and also places the SATA connection exactly where it would be on a 3.5" drive.

If you like buying from Amazon, and have some other items on your shopping list, you can get it from there for $2.99 less and free shipping on orders of $25 or more....
