I ordered a new battery for my early 2013 15" macbook pro, but the surface of the battery is uneven in areas unlike the original battery which is almost completely smooth. The uneven areas are on the lower right corner of the left large middle block and the lower right corner of the second smaller block from the right. There is no notable bulge, the surface is just uneven and a little raised. It was one of the best reviewed batteries where I bought it.

Is this normal or could this be a sign of an issue with the battery?

Thanks in advance for the help!

look below the sheet in the front of your pic, that's where the single batteries are connected.
