Go figure; my combo-drive on my 12" Powerbook "died" a couple weeks after the one-year warranty. I'm not complaining though, I know it's my fault.

Anyway, I've been doing some research on replacement drives so that I can sell the notebook on eBay, but the cheapest one I found was a hair over $200. Anyone know of a place that sells them for cheaper?

Also, the drive may not be dead completely. It still reads DVD's and CD's with data, just not video and audio. DVD player (and other DVD players) crash the second I load the disc, and the drive automatically spits out the CD when I place an audio disc into it. I figured this was enough to replace it, but I am definitely no tech.

All help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
