Hi Everyone,

My husband's iPhone 7 was replaced in February of this year. It had home button problems. The battery is now at 77%. The screen has blue spots on it and the phone is shutting off when the level goes under 40%. We brought it to Apple the other day and they said he would have to pay the full replacement price. The rep said that he could see the phone was having heat warnings. However my husband has not noticed any warnings come up on his phone during use.

Anyone think that this is clearly a defective device?

How long are replacements covered by some kind of limited warranty?

Thanks for any replies.
