Ok. I've been using Appleworks for the past 7 years. It's done me well, but I've almost completely stopped using it because my keyboard and printer both kicked the bucket. However, I still use it for the painting program since I've found nothing equivalent. I won't be able to keep it when I get a new iMac (please come out soon!). Is there anything equivalent? I don't have the money to shell for Photoshop, but perhaps there is something bundled or free on the internet that I could use?

why can't you use it on your iMac? I use AppleWorks on my macbook pro & my iMac g5.

I thought Appleworks doesn't come bundled on the new computers.

Oh, thanks! When I get the new computer I'll check these out to find one that suits my needs.
