I'm a very very longtime user of Quicken. Apparently, many banks are dropping support for creating transactions in Quicken and uploading them to the bank. All the new retreads seem to be download only. So a few questions for the community:
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Is anyone experiencing reliable service running online banking through Quicken? And with which banks?
Is anyone aware of other applications that can manage banking, credit cards and investments as good as Quicken can?
One option for paying is to use Quicken "Mail check with Check pay" if your bank doesn't support payments. The # of free checks is limited but if most of your bills are auto payed then this might be enough for those which aren't. Haven't had any issues using Chase.
