Long story short, I'm buying a new screen (a digitizer, not the lcd screen) for the iPhone 3gs.

Are the non-apple ones a lot different/worse than original apple's screens?
Has anyone used both and can share his experience?

I googled about it, and only threads I find is how to spot a fake, no discussions on if they're good or bad.

The apple screen will have a 5year warranty and the fake one 1 year warranty, and is a bit cheaper (100vs70 euros).

I bought a digitizer for about $25 from eBay seller Gadgetfix a year and a half ago. No complaints--I didn't notice a difference between it and how my iPhone was with the original digitizer.

I used both cheaper ones on Amazon and Ebay, no difference vs the Apple $ setup. They worked fine when I replaced mine and for friends.
