I just got an AppleCare replacement sent to me to replace my defective iPhone X and the darned thing has a green line that runs the length of the screen.

It didn’t show up right away but happened after I used the replacement phone for about 30 minutes.

Has anyone else seen this? Is the only option a hardware replacement?

If it’s an software issue they could try to fix that . Otherwise most likely they will just swap the screen for a new one

If you're running IOS 11.4 or higher and its not resolved its a hard ware failure.
Needs to be returned for replacement

It’s likely hardware- my guess. Since the OP had this phone sent to him/her it will most likely be another unit swap.
