I sent my iPhone to Apple for repair. My battery was not holding charge. Apparently, I'm being shipped a "replacement iPhone." Has anyone else experienced this? Will I receive a new or refurbished phone? Will I recieve a 3G or just another iPhone Edge? It seems like it would be unlikely that I'd receive a 1st Generation iPhone since the 3G has been out for nearly a year. Thanks for any help.

if you sent them a iphone 2g you will get that back

Apple can replace your phone with a new phone or a refurbished phone, it's in the contract
