The black paint on a few keys of my space grey Magic Keyboard is rubbing off. The keys function fine, it’s just an aesthetic peeve that I didn't expect from a product that's less than 3 years in use.

Searched online to see if replacement keys are readily available. Surprisingly it’s few and far between, with the only option from a seller pricing a key at $7.99USD each. Anyone know of a better price for these apparently elusive black keys?

TIA!

If you're within easy distance of an Apple Store you might ask the folks there. I don't think it's something that they'd advertise but they've helped me out -- gratis -- with a couple new keycaps in the past when I asked nicely. Eight bucks is a lot for a keycap!
