First off here is what I'm feeling right now :eek::mad::mad::confused:

so heres the scenario.. Im typing papers in the library at school on my 2006 2.0ghz white macbook when my hard drive decides to die on me.(lost a 15 page paper :( i was working on) I've done some research and im 99% sure it just died. There are 4 audible clicks when it trys to start up and I'm met with a folder with a question mark on it.

So I need to get a new hard drive to replace the deceased. What do you guys recommend for performance that will be identical or better to the original drive. I'm thinking 5400rpm because I dont want it to over heat. what do you guys think is my best bet? i was thinking of getting one of the seagate momentus models? thanks guys your lifesavers I wanna get this thing up and running again soon

Go for size and warranty for the price you wish to pay, and let the RPMs fall where they may.
