Replacement Macbook Pro Syncing iPhone issues

My old macbook pro was broken, I purchased a new one and i'd like to continue syncing my phone.

I've copied the entire "iTunes" folder from the User/Music folder. Along with the Library/iTunes stuff.

All the music is there and the applications.

I also did "transfer purchases."

It's giving me a "Erase content" warning when attempting to sync. I've already "re-synced" the music and I'd like to do the same with the applications but it's going to just vomit them all over the home pages.

I'd like to keep my layout/folders/etc.

Is there anyway to do this??

Why don't you restore from a back up, if you have one?

Why don't you restore from a back up, if you have one?

Since the last backup on the old macbook pro I've added texts, programs, etc.

So restoring from it wouldn't be good. I"d like to "merge" the two if possible. Or more realistically save my APP organization.
