Replacement MBP 2008 Screen & Aluminum Cover

I have a MBP 15" late 2008, MB470LL/A A1286. Years ago tripped over dog and bend aluminum cover & cracked screen (still displayed). I want to replace the upper LCD screen & cover but only see MPB 2011 A1286 replacement assemblies on eBay. Can I just attach the 2011 model onto my 2008 and connect wires, ie is it compatible??

Nope, you can´t.Those are different models...A1286 is an unibody macbook pro with everything different inside and outside.
