I was just curious about replacing a logic board on a 2009 27'' imac. I found someone trying to sell it off cheap due to it needing a new logic board and wanted to know if it'd be worth it to buy and get it replaced. I know back in 2011 when I needed one for my macbook it was like $600 in store or about $300 if I had it shipped out for a couple of days.
Does anyone know if apple still does that $300 option or did I just get lucky when that happened to me?

I was thinking if that option was still available it'd easily make the computer a great thing for me, specially with the big screen

It's not a general option and does the faulty board include a working processor?

Double check with Apple, but it was about $600(US) last year to get a store to do a logic board replacement on a 2009 iMac. The problem is that you don't know if that's the only problem with the computer.
