My first rMBP was experiencing ghosting and light bleed, so it was quickly swapped out for a replacement that appeared to be perfect (LG screen).

However, in the last while, it's been picking up more and more image retention - until today, at which point it's hit a new extreme that even the first Macbook didn't show.

I'm absolutely taking it back in to have it replaced again, as this is totally unacceptable. Since it's after the 14-day window by now, is it more likely that it'll be exchanged, or simply have the screen replaced?

Has anyone else experienced this growing ghosting issue over time?

Ouch that's bad. How long do the images stay there? No problems so far but only 2 weeks in. Does this happen to any display or a particular brand?

oh wow that looks awful. sorry to hear about that. I'm waiting for a replacement screen so they can swap mine since mine has the same issue. I will say that it has gotten worse over the past several days with my current display
