Hi all,

I've got a 24 inch 2009 iMac that needs the screen replacing. I've been looking online and have noticed a few used screens from 2008 iMacs and I was just wondering whether they would be compatible.

Also, anyone got experience with how much Apple charge for such a job?

Not sure if they would be compatible but if you're still under apple care take it to the genius bar. I actually just got back from there because of screen problems with my 24" and they're going to replace it. The statement says that the screens cost $487.50 but luckily I was covered.

Not under Applecare unfortunately but that said, $487 isn't as bad as I thought.
