Replacement Screen quality...question...

Hi.
Today I had my screen replaced at our trusted computer store. The picture quality seems great but when the screen is turned off there is a clear difference between where the screen begins and the outer black bezel. Is this also the case with a brand new MacBook? And if it isn’t, should I follow this up with the store? Btw. The store has raving reviews and friends only had positive experiences.
