I brought my rMBP to the Apple Store to get the screws tightened because it was creaking. The tech brought it to the back and came back with it. It helped a bit, but the creaking returned. I noticed that he stripped the screws a bit and one screw constantly snags on this woven bedspread I use. If i bring the rMBP in again to get the back plate reseated, could I also ask for replacement screws as well?

I don't see any reason why they wouldn't replace the Screws they stripped.

I stripped a screw on a unibody a few years ago and they gave me a few extras just in case it happened again.

i had that happened to my bottom plate, it will creaks after they tighten it. When I checked, i noticed there is a minor gap between the plate and case, it's just poor manufacturing

Basically same story here. I assume theyd be willing to replace it. I just don't have the time to go to the apple store... I wonder if I can order them from somewhere
