I've just bought a used alu iMac from eBay (the second machine in my sig), which is brand new and in tip-top order, but is missing the original install DVDs.

I understand if I send my serial number to Apple, they'll ship me a replacement set of discs. Is this correct? I can't find any info on the Apple support pages.

Cheers!

it's called fullfillment disks - call Apple and ask for it. They charge about $20 for each disk, so about $40 for the pair. Unfortunately I don;t know the exact procedure.

Cool, thanks, will give them a call.

Please let us know if they charge you and if so, how much. Might need to do this for a Macbook I just ordered.

Everyone I know that requested these discs had to pay:
