replacement worthy?

hello, i was wondering if apple still replaces cracked iphone 3Gs?
do you think they will still take mine?
i purchased it in february and there are numerous cracks near the dock connector and around the camera lens. (they are small, but noticeable to a meticulous person, like me.)
also, the silent\ringer switch has been very loose since the day i purchased it, and it has worried me ever since.

what do you think?

the apple store i go to will give you a new one basically no matter what as long as it's not water damaged.
