Apparently its not just a job of buying a new battery and installing it, You have to match APN numbers of batteries and even then it probably still will give an error 29, Anyone any experience in this?

Ok, My battery was APN 616 0432, I replaced it with 616 0435, I synced with iTunes no error 29, is there anything else I should look out for to tell if this battery isn't compatible as there are alot of issues with replacing 3gs batteries?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

Hmm I've replaced several batteries without no such issue!
