Replacing 4th gen AEBS w/ 6th gen???

Hi,

Will the 6th gen AEBS be better than the 4th? There's a lot of walls and obstacles between my computer and the router, and I'm wondering if the 6th will handle these better?

I'm using the AEBS 5th gen and was thinking of upgrading to the 6th gen too. But I saw the new router Asus released (RT-AC68U) and I'm thinking of going for that instead. My neighbour is using the RT-AC66U and I can detect his network even though we are a few houses down. Mine doesn't go beyond the house next to me.

Yes it will. Even if you do not have AC wifi devices, the new antennas are a better design. My new gen. Time Capsule gets better reception even on non-AC devices than the previous gen. did.
