iPod touch Replacing 4th generation iPod Touch Glass will this work?

The glass is just cracked the touch back light and actual display are fine. Thanks for any help!

It's my understanding that the three are fused together in an attempt to alleviate the issue of dust getting caught. Meaning you need to replace the lot. I've just lived with the crack in mine.

I have also heard that the glass and lcd are fused. Not sure why they are selling just the glass.

That's most likely why it only has one star is it possible to take the LCD etc off the glass?

Unfortunately, ifixit.com confirms this.

I know that GDP supplies both iPod Touch 4th Generation Digitizer Touch Panel and iPod Touch 4th Generation LCD and Digitizer assembly. you have more choices. it is more convenient.
