Replacing a HDD with an SSD

Hey guys, I shall be buying the 2011 MBP as I need a computer to replace my aging desktop. However, after speaking to an Apple Rep, she told me some alarming news. Apparently, the new MBPs, use a different connector for the HDD; therefore, it is not possible to switch it for an SSD yourself? Hopefully she is misinformed as that would be extremely annoying. Can anyone confirm?

Incorrect. The 2011 MBPs still use SATA ports.
