Hi,

I have an "Altec Lansing inMotion Stereo" that has worked great with my iPod Nano. However, I recently purchased an iPhone 3G, and the iPhone does not fit into the stereo.

For my next stereo, I would like to avoid the problem I just described. I would like to buy a stereo that works with ANY MP3 player, but also charges the device (without a lot of long cables running around). Does such a stereo exist? Do some stereos come equipped with USB ports for charging and a line-in for audio input?

I'm not all that familiar with the MP3 stereo market, so hopefully this post provides enough information.

Thanks!

...unfortunately :apple: changes connections for different generations... it keeps the sales of accessories strong...
