Replacing battery

Hi all,

I just came into possession of a late 2001 ibook and the battery is completly shot and it only runs when plugged in. Do any of you have suggestions of a good website where I can find a quality battery replacement?

Otherworldcomputing.com (aka macsales.com and OWC) will have reliable batteries but cost far more than what you'll find on ebay and amazon. They start at about $70 on that site, but they are great batteries. You can find generic new ones on eBay for under $20 but the quality on third party/generic batteries are always hit and miss.

If you really want quality batteries, go to OWC. It's the safest choice.
