So, I bought an iPhone 4S that is currently on a UPS truck somewhere near my house. Assuming I can activate it tonight (AT&T), I plan to give my wife my iPhone 4, as her iPhone 4 is literally being held together with duct tape after she dropped it on the sidewalk last week.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this literally just as easy as wiping my phone, installing her SIM card in my old iPhone 4, and restoring her last good backup to my old iPhone 4?
Seems to me this should work, since when I had my iPhone 4 replaced for a hardware problem a few weeks ago, that's what the Apple Genius did. Just want to confirm, though, that I don't need to make any calls to AT&T.
