replacing dirty housing???

I'm wondering how much does it cost to get the white housing changed at a apple store or is there any other store who does it??? my friend wanna change the housing of his white macbook and get a new palm rest and the pad.........is it possible

Apple is frequently replacing discolored cases free of charge as long as the discoloration doesn't appear to be caused by mistreatment of the machine.

I guess the free replacement is when the macbook is under applecare right??? what if the macbook is not under applecare
