I'm planning on selling my old 32bit Core Duo iMac but the DVD drive in it is dead and I was wondering how difficult it would be to replace the drive or even whether I'd be best off just getting an external to sell with it?

I'm more than comfortable replacing it myself if I can get a replacement but as it's slot loading I don't imagine they are readily available. The thing is, I reckon not having a working DVD drive will knock a fair bit off its resale value so I want to find some solution.
