My older iMac, that I use for scanning, came up with a code that indicated that, maybe, the HD was dead. Purchased an enclosure for it and cannot get it to mount. So I purchased a new one and am trying to install it. I can get everything connected except the 593-1280 cable and hope someone can offer a solution that will help me. It is a flat , gold colored cable and I cannot seem to make it fit into the board.
