Replacing HDD

My MacBook Pro 13 inch 2011 was running slow so I took it into apple and they have said the HDD is broken. They charged me €69 just for this. I was wondering how much they would charge to replace it? Lots of people say to do it yourself but I have never done anything like this before and don't want to ruin my mac anymore.

you can do it yourself and save the money, ive replaced my 250gb with a 1tb hdd. its pretty simple. But if you dont have the courage to change it yourself feel free to let apple charge you

im not sure as ive never had anything replaced by Apple. Im sure British charges are different from US charges. Just walk back in or call them and ask them
