Replacing imac g3 logic board

Hi all.
Well it seems I messed up my imac G3 500mhz logic board. I think I pressed the Pram button too many times or it's the problem that I didn't update the firmware when upgrading to OS X and now it will not start.
Well, someone is going to give me a logic board for it and was wondering how hard it is to install. Is it just a quick swap or do I need to avoid anything when doing it.

Which version of 500 Mhz G3 iMac ??

There are 3 versions of that system:

1) Summer 2000 (iMac DV SE) 7/2000 - 2/2001 <<intro date/end date

2) Early 2001 iMac 2/2001 - 7/2001 <<intro date/end date

3) Summer 2001 iMac 7/01 - 3/2003 <<intro date/end date

Well, I believe it is the Early 2001 model. It is indigo with a slot loading cd-rw drive.

Ok.. then it should be fairly simple if your handy around computers( upgrading them etc)

I got a take-a-part manual since i had to install pram battery in my iMac G3 DV SE..

If you want a copy i'll email ya it .. after you're inside of the iMac, i think it's like 6 or 7 screws for logic board to come off..
