Replacing iPhone back just to sell it on Amazon trade in?

I have a iPhone 3GS that has cracks on the back but is in otherwise good working condition.

The cracks are preventing me from getting full value for my iPhone on amazon, thinking about buying a replacement back cover for it.

What do you think of this?

The back cover is really hard to replace on the 3G and 3GS. Everything mounts to that.
Cut your losses and sell it as is.
Dont waste any more money on it or risk damaging anything in it while taking it all apart.

Just go to ifixit.com. It's pretty easy to fix. I've done several.

If you're familiar and comfortable taking electronics apart with many tiny pieces yes.
If not you can ruin it.
He's just trying to get rid of it anyway. I wouldn't bother.
