Replacing iPhone front glass

Does taking out my front screen and replacing it take out my front camera?
I have watched multiple videos and no one addresses the front camera. Do they come with the new screens? Or is it just sitting there on my phone and the screen covers it up?

If you have to replace the front screen, you'll have to replace the LCD/digitizer also. It's all one unit.

Yeah I bought the whole thing. I just didn't know because not one video mentions it. Thanks for the help.

I just assumed you were talking about the iPhone 5. My apologies. Here's the guide for the iPhone 4S front camera:
