Hi

I am about to order a replacement keyboard since my MBP 17", 2.4Ghz/800 bus side Sanat Rosa blah blah keyboard is plastic and from the heat and use wore out the letters!, not all but most common used ones.

I am sure i am not the only one to of noticed plastic keys on this model, my question is if Apple older models actually had aluminum keyboards and if i can use those keyboards?

Cheers
G

Ok

thanks allot

so sad to see letters fade off my MBP last year after only a few months of use, apple replaced them a few times as well but now the guaranty ended.

I guess i had hopes up for REAL Aluminum for a Pro laptop since they are built for POWER USERS.

It'd also be easier to cut your fingers with the edges, it's be too easy to dent, and not to mention, it would conduct electricity and we know static kills electronics.
