Hi,

Due to 2 dead pixels on the screen, i contacted a apple service centr here, n he promised that he wud replace the screen alone for my macbook....

so does replacing the screen means, removing the glass cover and replacing the LED display alone or changing the whole of screen along with the lid and aluminum top??

That's an interesting question.

If it were me, I'd just copy your data from the old one and send you a new one with no defects.

Then just fix up the old one and sell it refurbished, that way you get it back faster....

hehe

It would be great, if that service centre guy is like u :D...

The "glass" on the screen is bonded on pretty well. Not impossible to remove, but it's just easier to replace the entire top panel.
