Ever since i had mine, the chrome on the latch has been corroded, i want to replace it, but i want to know do i have to replace the whole bottom case to do this? i know i have to buy the whole lower part to get that part, but you can find reasonably proced parts to do this on ebay, but i want to know can i just unscrew the latch and put it in or do i have to take everything apart to do this? My comfort level is decent, i've opened up the computer for hard drive replacement.
