Replacing the fans in a MP?

Hi all,

I have two Mac Pros from 2006 that I need to replace the fans in. Is it possible to replace the original fans with Noctuas?

If you can find fans that have the exact same dimensions and a 4 pin plug, then yes, it is possible.

I once replaced the fans in my old G5 because they were too loud (although brand new).

What is your reason for a replacement?
