It is fairly difficult. The 3G/3Gs was MUCH easier. Definitely not recommended for a newbie. :)
 
it's def doable. Just take your time and be careful...if you can bring it to a store where an 18 or 19 y/o is behind the counter changing the screens out...you can do the same. just may take you a bit longer to get it down. i replaced the screen on my 3g as well as the actual back housing. it was difficult mainly because you had to take everything out of the phone..camera, battery, chipboard, speakers..etc. it just takes a little dedication and a steady hand. :)
 
why's it so cheap on this site? seems kinda fishy no?

all you are getting is the glass. that's why its so cheap.

for the glass to be replaced, you will have to pry the glass from the plastic housing it's glued onto and then reglue the new glass onto it, then install it.

In my previous post i was referring to replacing the "Full" housing back.

with the parts listed at the above website, you will be working on that for a while.
