I can't speak highly enough of Replug, a breakaway audio jack adapter which resembles Apple's MagSafe plug. I just tripped over my headphone cable while my MacBook was copying files and it could have been disastrous. Luckily, Replug let go and my MacBook didn't go flying off the table or get its hard drive jerked while writing to the disk.

I figured I'd post about it out of gratitude because everybody should know about this simple yet essential accessory.

Cheers.

It has saved me once or twice as well. It's not a dealbreaker/maker for me, but much better then the alternative.

By the way, ass is fine it seems on this site.

I hear ya. Yeah, I used dollar signs not only to be polite, but also because I saw the double meaning since it's not just saving your hardware and data, but also saving you money on repairs.
